Freestyle (#55) — A 3 stack of pancakes w/butter

I have gotten this kind of request a lot over the last 17 years and this is perhaps my favorite execution up to now. I find the trick with the syrup is to splash the tiniest amount of red into your golds and ambers. Pancake art has brought me so much happiness over the years. I am humbled and grateful that I get to do this for a living. I am still enjoying this, and I think I will keep doing it until I die. I hope that everyone can find something like that, and build a relationship with it that makes it sustainable and life-giving. I know what it's like to be in a bad relationship with your craft and now that I don't, it is night and day. How magnificent to look forward to labor, and to delight people you've never met before.
