Pancake art depicting two dogs named Penny and Captain: a smaller dark brown dog wearing a small crown is positioned in the foreground center, and a larger tan dog appears behind and to the left, both shown from roughly the chest up against a multicolor background. The piece uses bold dark outlines with layered fill areas in violet, indigo, blue, teal, orange, yellow-green, and brown, with lighter batter used for highlights on the dogs' faces and the crown detail; the overall composition is circular with an irregular scalloped edge on a cream-colored ground.
