The Joy of Pancakes — Pancakeopedia
Fiona
GTS-000846 · METAL BRUNCH @ THE CROW’S NEST
A pancake art portrait of a hippopotamus head shown in three-quarter view, with the animal's wide snout, small eye, rounded ear, and folded neck skin depicted in layered tones of slate blue, gray-green, tan, and brown against a cream-yellow background with splashes of orange, violet, and mint green. Dan rendered the image with bold dark outlines and broad color fills, using fine linework to suggest skin texture and wrinkles, with the guest's favorite colors—violet, blue, and orange—worked into the background as loose paint-splash shapes around the central figure.
